Our story
Sensclo exists because two people refused to stop asking questions.

Manjula Sen
Manjula Sen spent years as a journalist before she found her answers in fabric: in the weight of handwoven cotton, the precision of a Kantha stitch, the story a garment can carry without saying a word. She brought to Sensclo the same instinct she brought to every story: go deeper, look closer, find the person behind the thing.

Mahesh Balasubramaniam
Mahesh Balasubramaniam found his in the quieter world of books, in the belief that ideas, well told, can change how people see the world. He brought to Sensclo the conviction that a brand, like a good story, needs to stand for something true.
Together, they are building something they believe in. A label that celebrates the people who make things by hand. A platform for craft that deserves to be seen. A business with a purpose.
This is their brainchild. We hope, in time, it becomes yours too.
We are oral history.
